A HORSE rescue charity is holding a family fun day to raise funds for its work.
Saving Abandoned Flygrazing Equines (SAFE) was set up in 2014 after 38 horses and ponies were abandoned in a field in Binfield.
The charity rescues and re-home abandoned and neglected horses in the Berkshire & Surrey area, rehabilitating horses before rehoming them.
The Family Fun day is being held at Wokingham’s Cantley Park on Saturday, September 7, from 11am.
The cost is adults £1 each and children (under 16) 50p each. There will be the usual food stalls and lots of fun entertainment as well as a dog show, pony rides and a barbecue.
Other attractions include a human gymkhana, family games and activities including inflatables, bungee trampolines, teacup ride, axe and javelin throwing, tin can alley, hook a duck, beat the keeper, crazy golf and kids arts and crafts.
