MOTORISTS are being warned that a major route across Wokingham borough will face overnight closures next week.
The A329m will be shut from 8pm to 6am every night from Monday, June 3 through to Saturday, June 8.
During these times, drivers looking to get to Bracknell, Reading or the M4 will need to take alternative routes.
The section closed is the area between the M4 slip roads and is for bi-annual routine maintenance.
The A329m will be closed in both directions and alternative routes will be in place during this time.
The alternative route for northbound vehicles affected by the restriction will be via M4 westbound to junction 11, and then return eastbound to re-join the A329M.
The alternative route for southbound vehicles affected by the restriction will be via slip off to Winnersh, Loddon Bridge interchange, B3270 Lower Earley Way, B3270 Whitley Wood Lane, M4 junction 11 and M4 Eastbound to re-join the A329M.
Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
