Air Ambulance called to Winnersh after tree-maintenance accident

The Thames Valley Air Ambulance have been rated 'outstanding' for their service.

EARLIER TODAY an Air Ambulance landed in Winnersh after a tree-maintenance accident.

Wokingham.today understands that a local tree surgeon cut his arm whilst working, which prompted neighbours to call 999.

At approximately 3pm this afternoon, the Air Ambulance landed in The Forest School playing fields, utilising the open space as a makeshift helipad. 

The paramedics quickly left school grounds to tend to the incident.
