BOSSES of a Wokingham school are looking for new governors to come forward.
Roles at Barnardo’s High Close School have a number of roles available including a chair and vice-chair.
And the children’s charity said that by getting involved, the new governors would be helping to lead the Wiltshire Road school for children with complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
Clem Deniran, Assistant Director of Children’s Services at Barnardo’s said: “We are really proud of High Close School and our aim is to ensure that our pupils not only enjoy their education, but they also reach their full potential and go on to make a full and positive contribution to society.
“Becoming a governor at High Close will be challenging but also highly rewarding.
“We welcome applicants with experience in or an interest in education which can help to drive the school forward and also those individuals who have a passion for supporting the children helped by Barnardo’s.
“The success of High Close is very much a team effort and we look forward to welcoming new members of the team on our journey.”
