A MOTORCYCLIST is being treated in an Oxford hospital following a road traffic collision in Charvil last weekend.
Now police are appealing for witnesses.
As we revealed last Sunday night, Thames Valley Police closed the A4 Bath Road following the incident, which took place around 4.30pm on Sunday, December 9.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision, a black Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Triumph Thruxton motorbike.
Thames Valley Police said that the motorbike’s rider sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. It is not known if they had taken part in the toy run earlier that day, although some people on social media has said that the rider wasn’t.
No other person was injured during the collision.
Investigating officer, PC James Baker of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information about the collision to come forward.
“I would especially like to hear from anyone who has dashcam, mobile phone or CCTV footage of the collision.
