STORE wars broke out in Woodley last Friday and it was all thanks to the bank.
A team from Barclays head office in London visited the Helen and Douglas House Hospice shop in the Crockhamwell Road shopping precinct to set up a special fundraising stall.
On offer were bundles of games, CDs, DVDs and goodies plus homemade cakes and refreshments.
Every penny raised from their pop-up shop went to the charity and there was contest between different Barclays teams across the country to see who could raise the most for the charities they were representing.
