The stars of a BBC auction show will be placing their bids in Wokingham later this month.
James Braxton and Charlie Ross, stars of the BBC series Antiques Road Trip, will be driving into town in the hope of making a profit at a local auction room.
The experts will view 10 lots at the Martin & Pole auction on Wednesday, August 23, including a Chinese three-tier rattan and bamboo basket, a set of child’s wicker furniture, and a Black Forest nutcracker in the form of a ram.
The auction will also feature a holiday theme, with highlights of the 500-lot sale including luggage by Louis Vuitton and Mappin & Webb, and a collection of Concorde and British Airways memorabilia.
The memorabilia had belonged to a cabin steward who worked on the transatlantic Concorde flights, and included uniforms, menus, staff tags, ceramics, and in-flight accessories.
A rocking horse by G & J Lines will also feature in the auction catalogue.
The full catalogue will be available from tomorrow (August 16) on the Martin & Pole website and the-saleroom.com, where you can watch and bid at the auction live online.
The auction will take place at the Martin & Pole auction room in Milton Road on Wednesday, August 23.
