SEAN MOORE bagged a brace as Binfield booked their spot in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup with a 3-0 win over Buckland Athletic.
The Moles have had a mixed season with heavy league defeats against Wantage Town and Reading City, but they have saved their best performances for the cup.
Having already won two matches to reach this stage, Binfield stormed out the traps against Western League Buckland, going 2-0 up inside five minutes through goals from Moore and Eddie Lee.
Lee went close again after the restart before the lead was extended when Moore received possession from Jamie McClurg and fired in from distance.
Jeff Brown was sent off with 20 minutes to play, but the Moles saw out the victory.
The draw for the next round is due to take place today (Monday) before Binfield host Brackley Town Saints in the Hellenic Premier this evening (7.45pm).
