BOHUNT SCHOOL’S Under-13s girls football side have progressed to a national cup final.
Competing in the English Schools Football Association tournament, where over 400 schools took part, Bohunt have battled through eight rounds and scored an impressive 39 goals along the way, conceding just five.
To reach the showpiece event, Bohunt saw off Ipswich-based Kesgrave High School in the semi-finals, winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Freya Harris and Molly McKeever.
They will now face Solihull’s St Peter’s RC School with the date and venue still to be confirmed, but it is likely to be at Stoke City’s Bet365 Stadium.
“We are incredibly proud of our U13 girls football team as their sporting success continues,” said Bohunt headteacher Ben Godber.
“Their hard work and dedication to the sport is really paying off.
“They are brilliant ambassadors for the school.”
