Sumas boss Dan Bateman played the final 10 minutes in goal as his side held on to beat Abingdon Town 3-2 at Larges Lane in Hellenic Division One East.
Wokingham looked set for a routine win when goals from James Clark, Ellis Day and Elliott Rushforth put them 3-0 up.
But the visitors rallied to pull the score back to 3-2 before goalkeeper Owen Holland was sent off, requiring Bateman to step in as an emergency stopper to close out the victory.

The deadlock was broken when Clark netted from the penalty spot early on and the advantage was doubled when in-form Day struck again, bursting through before lashing in from 20 yards.
Rushforth then added a third minutes into the second half, rounding off a fine team move.
The visitors pulled a goal back midway through the half while at the other end Rushforth and George Marsh came close to putting the Sumas three clear again.
But it was Abingdon who would score next, bagging from the penalty spot before Holland was sent off after picking up a second yellow card for kicking the ball away in frustration.
That led to Bateman taking the gloves and replacing Clark as the Sumas saw out a nervy final few minutes to clinch three vital points.
Wokingham are up to fifth in the table and go to Burghfield in the Reading Senior Cup on Saturday before a Tuesday night trip to Premier Division outfit Wantage Town in the Hellenic League Challenge Cup, battling for a place in the quarter-finals.
