Handelsbanken is renowned for its local relationship banking, and no one epitomises this more than Warren Palmer, Corporate Banking Manager at the Ascot branch, having built a reputation for his knowledgeable approach.
Warren joined Handelsbanken in 2006, after being impressed by their approach of modern banking with traditional values.
Commenting on his move, Warren said: “After 22 years with two other high street banks, I was attracted by the chance to use all my banking skills, including making lending decisions and building long-term customer relationships.
“Handelsbanken is renowned for building tailored banking solutions.
“We take the time to get to know our customers and their needs to provide the best personal advice and service we can, and we take a holistic view, meaning that whether a customer’s requirement is for personal or corporate banking, we can deal with all of their needs under one roof and understand the whole picture.
“I love dealing with people and helping them throughout their life. There are many scenarios in which I can make a real difference, such as helping customers to buy or expand their business, buy homes for themselves or their children, or to finance education.”
In his role, Warren spends much of his time getting to know new customers and build relationships with the aim of being their trusted banking adviser.
A familiar face around town, Warren is an active member of the community where he works.
A regular at network events such as Wokingham Positive Difference and The Business Forum, in his spare time Warren is actively involved with his local theatre group and over the years has appeared in many plays, comedies and musicals.
