OWNERS of a dog who has been missing for almost a month are appealing for help to find him.
Eddie was being walked in Buckhurst Meadows off William Heelas Way on Thursday, November 23 around 3.20pm.
Owner Abigail Chapman said: “He ran off on a walk in Buckhurst Meadow in which is an area he knows well. We thought he’d find his way home to be honest as we only live five minutes from there.
“He runs off in bushes all the time chasing rabbits but always comes back.”
The family have been patrolling the area in a bid to find Eddie.
Ms Chapman said: “We’ve searched the grounds of the St Anne’s Manor Hilton Hotel and the neighbouring fields and woods. There havn’t been any sightings yet.
“I have put up posters and notified the dog warden, various vets, network rail and dog lost, alongside various dog social media sites.”
Eddie is a brown/tan border terrier. He is six-years-old and very friendly. He was wearing a black and orange tiger stripe collar and he’s microchipped.
