A SEVEN-piece group of ukulele enthusiasts warmly invite you to come along for an evening of music, singing along, silly banter, frivolity and fun when they appear at South Street later this month.
They say that it’s just like a Carry On film, but with ukuleles.
Tukes’ claim to fame is that they once played the entire Beatles’ Sergeant Pepper album on ukulele, while next to a windmill on top of a hill in the summer sunshine, overlooking the scenic vistas of Turville.
In addition to Beatles favourites, Tukes are promising a cocktail of music from the world of pop, rock, folk, electronica and disco and, for this performance only, a special 70s flavour, with songs from ABBA, T-Rex, Lindisfarne and more.
The fun takes place at South Street on Saturday, January 12. Tickets cost £8.
