CATERING students from a school in Wokingham played host to parents and staff as part of their GCSE examination earlier this month.
Year 11 students from Northern House School, in Gipsy Lane, welcomed 45 parents and staff into the Food Technology department’s pop-up restaurant for a three-course, British-themed supper.
The boys served up tasty food to hungry patrons, and set and cleared tables as part of their exam requirement.
Deputy Headteacher and head of food technology, Sharon Fletcher said: “British food doesn’t always have the best reputation, so seeing our boys create really mouth-watering, interesting and balanced meals for their exams was wonderful.
“Well done boys. Fingers crossed your hard work will pay off with exam results as impressive as your Victoria Sponges.”
