CCTV Images have been released after a man was spat at by a cyclist in Wokingham last week.
At 4.20pm on Thursday (16) the victim, a man in his sixties, was walking towards the California Ratepayers’ Hall in Finchampstead Road. As he got close to the building, a man cycled out of the hall car park, and rode along the pavement towards the victim. As the cyclist drew level with the man, he spat in the victim’s face.
Nothing was said by either the victim or the cyclist leading up to the incident.
Investigating officer, PC Amy Edwards, based at Bracknell police station, said: “The victim in this incident did not sustain any injuries in this assault, but has been understandably left incredibly shaken.
“The man in this picture might have vital information which could help our investigation, so I would urge him to come forward.
“If anyone recognises this man, or has any details which they think could help us in our investigation, please contact the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101.”
