ART lovers flocked to the opening of a new gallery at Holme Grange Craft Village last week.
AntiqArt, which buys and sells paintings, prints, ceramics and ornaments of all genres and styles, officially launched at the Heathlands Road craft village on Thursday, October 5.
With a huge buffet of nibbles and champagne in The Grange Chocolate Cafe, and music provided by Ian Biles from Beyond the Download, art lovers were given a chance to peruse the paintings on display and find out more about the artists.
A percentage of sales from the evening were donated to The Alzheimer’s Society in memory of owner Jeremy Edwards’ father, George.
Mr Edwards said: “Thank you to everyone who came to the launch evening.
“I have learnt a lot from it and have plans for more events later in the year.
“I raised £70 from sales on the evening which will be donated to The Alzheimer’s Society.”
