AN EARLY opportunity to find some festive gifts is coming to South Hill Park later this month.
The Bracknell-based arts centre is hold its annual Craft and Design Fair over the weekend of November 17 and 18 between 10am and 5pm.
The event will be packed with original handcrafted presents and, in an early seasonal treat, there will be carols, mince pies and mulled wine to enjoy.
Performing will be the Reading Barbarettes performing on Saturday and the local chamber choir, Thames Voyces entertaining visitors on Sunday.
More than 40 different stalls will be set up throughout the Mansion and Wilde Theatre foyer, featuring high-quality work from talented British artists and craft-makers.
From ceramics and jewellery pieces, to wood-turned art and colourful hand-dyed textiles, organisers say there is something for everyone and that this is the perfect opportunity to take home unique Christmas gifts, and talk to the artists about how each item has been made. Pass on its story and share the magic this Christmas.
South Hill Park’s purpose-built art studios will also be open for public access, giving visitors the opportunity to watch students at work, talk to the tutors about all the creative magic that the centre’s courses have to offer, and be inspired by the workspaces at South Hill Park.
