A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital after colliding with a van in Earley this morning.
Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the scene in Wokingham Road, close to Earley Station, at around 10am following reports that a cyclist, believed to be male, had collided with a white van.
Paramedics assessed and treated the man at the scene, before taking him to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A passing fire crew stopped to assist at the scene but their services were not required.
Police were on the scene diverting traffic, but no road closures were enforced.
