Film fanatics will be celebrating the ‘summer nights’ this weekend when Dinton Pastures Open Air Cinema shows the timeless classic, Grease.
After previous screenings of Bohemian Rhapsody and The Greatest Showman the cinema is set to air the 1979 film on Saturday, September 7.
Fans went to see the emotional biopic of Freddie Mercury’s life on Saturday, August 10 and Saturday, August 17.
And they also screened the Hugh Jackman musical The Greatest Showman on Saturday, August 24.
Executive member for environment and leisure Cllr Parry Batth said: “The screenings have proved hugely successful.
“Dinton Pastures provides the perfect backdrop for these blockbusters and we look forward to welcoming guests back on Saturday for the airing of family favourite, Grease.”
Guests are invited to but on their best 50s dress. Think pink bomber jackets – like the pink ladies – and leather jackets.
Doors open at 6pm and attendees are welcome to bring their own picnics and enjoy some music before the film starts just after 9pm.
Food and drink will also be available.
Adult tickets cost £13.95 and for children it’s £8.95 and the usual Dinton Pastures car parking fees apply.
