SHOWCASE Cinema Reading will screen all England and Scotland Women’s World Cup matches for free throughout their 2019 Women’s World Cup campaigns.
England and Scotland will both kick off their respective campaigns against each other this Sunday at 5pm as the two rivals will battle to progress from Group D which also features Argentina and Japan.
England will be looking to build on their impressive 2015 World Cup campaign which saw them suffer heartbreak in the semi-final against Japan as they conceded a late own goal in stoppage time.
They eventually finished third in the tournament as Reading midfielder Fara Williams scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot in extra-time to defeat Germany 1-0 in the third place play-off.
Phil Neville’s side will be hoping that they can make an impact in France where they will have a shot at redemption against Japan in the group stages of the competition.
Doors will open 30 minutes before kick off for each match with the fixtures as follows:
England v Scotland- Sunday 9th June, 5pm
Japan v Scotland- Friday 14th June, 2pm
England v Argentina- Friday 14th June, 8pm
Japan v England– Wednesday 19th June, 8pm
