EVERSLEY remain at the summit of the table after they stormed to a stunning 215-run triumph over Kew.
Kew elected to field first having won the toss. Eversley started their innings with a fine opening partnership as Jack Ford scored 41 runs before James Magowan, who top scored for his side, hit 72 runs as the pair surpassed a century of runs as a pair.
A blip in the innings occurred when Tom Nichols was removed for a duck before Eversley captain Tom Howorth was dismissed for 18 runs.
However, with Chris Last and Alex Sykes at the crease, the hosts were able to tally some valuable runs on the board as Last scored 41 and Sykes totalled 33 runs.
Stuart Lipo then added 27 more runs for Eversley before the tail end of the order were dismissed quickly by Kew to keep the total from causing much further damage as the hosts posted a strong score of 288.
Eversley were in fine form with the ball and didn’t give Kew a chance of getting close to the chase.
The league leaders were ruthless with all of their bowling attack finding consistency as Tom Magowan, Ben Barnard and Nick McGuane all picked up two wickets each.
Stuart Lipo then reduced the tail end of the Kew batting order as he gained three wickets before Joe Howorth dismissed the final batsmen with his first ball as Eversley cruised to an easy victory.
With five wins from give games, Eversley will be seeking to maintain their winning streak and their league lead when they travel away to face Maidenhead & Bray this weekend.
