Award-winning singer Robert Habermann will bring the work of arts legend Tony Bennett to a stage in Maidenhead next month.
Habermann- who has performed at venues such as London’s Southbank Centre, the Royal Albert Hall, and London Palladium- will be stopping off at Norden Farm arts centre for his next performance.
The singer will perform songs from Tony Bennett’s album The Good Life alongside images of the music star’s paintings.
Songs from the collection include hit tracks Stranger in Paradise, The Good Life, It Had to Be You, Blue Velvet and The Very Thought of You.
And this unique fusion of art of music is not something which Habermann is unaccustomed to. The performer is famed for his shows featuring anecdotes and a story telling theme.
Highlights of Bennett’s life include a name change, career as a singing waiter, and duets with Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga. And the lengthiness of the star’s career- still potent in his nineties- is an achievement which Habermann is keen to feature in the show.
The Good Life- The Songs of Tony Bennett will take place on Sunday, July 7 at 7.30pm. Tickets start at £13.50. To find out more or to book log on to www.nordenfarm.org.
