FOR some people, shopping centres are wonderlands – and a Reading-based centre is about to prove that adage right with a special Easter holiday event.
The Oracle in our neighbouring town’s centre is holding a special Alice In Wonderland-themed event on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11.
Billed as the ultimate adventure playground, the event will take place on Level Two of the centre.
Guests can enjoy some royal croquet, Hoop The Flamingo, giant chess and a round of giant spot the difference.
Children will also be able to paint and decorate their own beautiful themed looking glasses with special coloured pens and accessories.
Andy Briggs, general manager at The Oracle, said: “We all know how challenging it can be to keep children entertained during the school holidays so we wanted to create something special and free to attend for local families in the area this Easter.
“The Alice in Wonderland event set is going to be something truly magical and will provide for a great escape from the every-day, encouraging families to step away from their screens and enjoy making memories together.”
The event runs at the Oracle from 11am to 4pm on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11.
