Farley Hill Place Gardens is blooming with life and colour ahead of a special charity open day next month.
The four acre gardens will open their gates as part of the National Garden Scheme project which sees over 3,500 national private gardens give unique access to visitors each year.
The open day will allow guests to admire the plot’s well-kept flower beds, herb garden, and vegetable patch, whilst enjoying live entertainment from a barbershop quartet.
Visits to the garden’s Victorian glasshouse as well as homemade teas and a plant sale will also be available on the day.
Last year’s National Garden Scheme raised over £131,000 in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire for nursing and health charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, and The Queen’s Nursing Institute. And the national figure totaled an impressive £3 million.
The open day will take place on Sunday, June 2 from 2pm to 5pm. Adults tickets cost £5, while children go free.
Bookings for groups of more than 10 can also be arranged in June and July by arrangement with the garden owner. For more details, call 0118 976 2544.
