A THREE-year-old girl who was injured during a crash on the M4 earlier this month has died in hospital.
The child suffered the injuries when the silver Ford Focus C-Max she was travelling in collided with a tree between junctions 11 and 10 on Saturday, May 7.
A 37-year-old woman from Middlesex, named as Rebecca Taylor, died at the scene, while the little girl, a man in his late thirties and a second girl, aged five, were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Police confirmed today (Wednesday) that the girl passed away on Monday, May 9. The man and the five-year-old girl have since been discharged from hospital.
The collision happened at around 2.10pm on the eastbound carriageway. Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
