A MAN has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Finchampstead on Friday.
The charge is in connection with an incident which happened in Dart Close on Friday (24) evening at around 11.15pm.
Police and ambulance attended the scene following reports that a 29-year-old man had been stabbed.
The man sadly died in the early hours of Saturday morning. His identity has not yet been released by police.
Anthony Wheaton, 24, of Dart Close, has been charged with one count of murder, Thames Valley Police announced on Sunday afternoon.
Mr Wheaton has been remanded in custody to appear at reading Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (Monday).
A police cordon remains in place at the scene, along with a heightened police presence.
