FINCHAMPSTEAD Under-15 Sharks completed a league and cup double with a 4-0 success over Windlesham Warriors.
Joe Watts and Jake Barclay both bagged braces in the league finale against the side who up until three weeks ago were also chasing both trophies, before Finchampstead pounced.
Sharks’ season ends unbeaten in all competitions, winning 20 of their 21 games and scoring 121 goals along the way with every player finding the net.
Ben Martire picked up the golden boot while Alfie Hardwick won the players’ player of the season trophy.
Other awards went to Jacob Wallis (supporters’ player), Joe Watts (most improved), Dan MacMillan (coaches player), George ‘Yaya’ McBride (10 years award) and Ollie ‘Captain Football’ Gillham (10 years award).
“It has been a real pleasure to coach these boys and I am looking forward to next season with them all,” said boss Shane Wallis.
Another highly successful team this year have been WOKINGHAM AND EMMBROOK U18s.
The double winners recently held their awards day with Connor Holland scooping the players’ player of the year crown.
Other winners were Ellis Wisdom (manager’s player), Sam Martin (chairman’s player) and Alex Platt (golden boot).
FINCHAMPSTEAD Under-13s are seeking new players.
The club’s focus is on enjoyment of the game and players of all abilities are welcome with league games beginning from September.
Training takes place on Monday nights at 6.30pm.
