On Sunday, the annual toy run took place, seeing around 2,000 bikers take part in a colourful procession through Shinfield, Winnersh and Wokingham.
Organised by the Reading Christian Bikers, the event sees thousands of people come from all over the country.
Most were in fancy dress, with Santas, sheep, Christmas trees and snowmen all in evidence. There was even a nativity scene on one bike.
Each participant was asked to bring with them a toy which would be left at the end point of the ride – High Close School in Wokingham. These would then be shared among the Barnados network across the country, ensuring that children have a happy Christmas.
Hundreds of people lined the route, which went from the old Shire Hall in Shinfield, along Reading Road and into Shute End.
And, after last year’s run was cancelled due to ice and snow, this year’s event took place in dry and sunny conditions.
