Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a tea time attack on a man in the car park of a church.
The attack happened around 6.10pm on Wednesday, November 4.
Thames Valley Police say that 35-year-old man was assaulted by five men. During the attack he was knocked down, receiving cuts and bruises as a result. Nothing was stolen.
It took place in the car park of St James Church in Kingfisher Driver, Woodley.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “There were members of the public in the car park at the time of the assault who may have witnessed it, and they are urged to come forward if they have any information.”
“Anyone with information should contact the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
