A MAN was attacked by three men as he walked through a park on Valentine’s Day. Now police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Police are described the attack as GBH, and the victim was taken to hospital with injuries caused by cuts. There is no confirmation as to what caused the cuts.
In their statement, police said that the 58-year-old victim was walking through Palmer Park in Reading – this is of Wokingham Road and runs next to the border with Earley – when he was approached by three men.
The first offender is described as a black man, the second was a mixed race man, and the victim does not recall a physical description of the third offender.
Although he was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment, he has since been discharged.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Jonathan Morley of Force CID at Reading police station, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this incident, which was a traumatic experience for the victim.
