Binfield strengthened their position in the Hellenic Premier League with two victories on the bounce to take them up to third in the table.

The Moles secured a 1-0 victory away at Royal Wootton before smashing five goals past Windsor without reply on Tuesday evening in a spectacular performance to boost their league position.

Royal Wootton Bassett Town 0-1 Binfield
Binfield travelled to Royal Wootton in search of three points with both sides facing the harsh conditions on a wet and windy afternoon.

A closely matched first-half saw the hosts able to frustrate Binfield with the score at deadlock going into the break.

But it was the Moles who would find the crucial breakthrough just after the hour mark as Sean Moore netted the only goal of the game to give his side all three points.

“Horrid conditions today, we had to work for our three points,” said Binfield manager Roger Herridge.

“Any win away is a good win in this league.”

Binfield: Thomson-Wheeler, Horscroft, Short, Kamara, Gallimore, Howell, McClurg, Moore, Melledew, Helmore.
Subs: Shaw, Wheeler, Chamberlain, Johnson.

Windsor 0-5 Binfield
After a delayed start due to a technical issue with the floodlights, Binfield made a flying start once the game eventually got underway to take the lead just two minutes in through Josh Howell.

Two more quickfire goals gave the Moles a commanding 3-0 lead at half-time with Jack Thomson-Wheeler and Sean Moore both getting on the scoresheet.

Moore added another to his tally in the 56th minute to put Binfield 4-0 up before Josh Helmore secured the three points and a convincing victory with a fifth to cap off a remarkable performance.

Binfield: Williams, Thomson-Wheeler, Legg, Chamberlain, Kamara, Gallimore, Howell, Short, Moore, Melladew, Helmore.
Subs: McClurg, Shaw, Wheeler, Regragui, Johnson.
