If you have not already seen or been watching your local news or Facebook page, this is Sam, a little boy just three years of age and suffering from a rare and aggressive form of child cancer called neuroblastoma.
This is a very sad thing and he is only expected to live for another 12 months – this is heart breaking.
An auction was held at Wokingham Baptist Church today to help get Sam to Disneyland.
Organisers said that they would like to thank everyone who donated gifts to auction – and a very big thank to all the team at London Irish Rugby for signing a London Irish Rugby Top.
We have so many people to thank in the local community around us, we would not know where to start first.
Our dream is to raise funds to take little Sam to Disneyland before it’s too late.
Little Sam is full of the joys of life with great smile and brought tears to my eyes today when I was photographing that dear little boy – bless him, the only will keep everyone strong at this time.
There are lots of other events planned so when you see posts here on Facebook on in the local media spend a moment and take a look or why not pop along to one of the events and give your support.
WELL TODAY, IT WAS AUCTION DAY AT WOKINGHAM BASPTIST CHURCH SMILE FOR SAM!
“We would all like to thank everyone who turned up for today’s auction. It was a great turn out of local people from the community.
“Thanks everyone for your very kind support so far, see you all at the next event.
“The sound was of the hammer banging and people waving their hands in the air, bidding.”
