BINFIELD kept up their impressive run on the road this season when brushing aside Highmoor Ibis in a 4-1 victory at Palmer Park on Monday night.
The Moles racked up an 18th win in all competitions away from Hill Farm Lane, with this latest success coming via goals from Danny Horscroft, Michael Walton, Jean-Claude Etienne and James Knight.
It was Walton’s third goal in many games, with the midfielder following up his two-goal salvo during last Thursday’s 4-0 thrashing of Ascot United.
Anthony White replied for Highmoor.
Victory moved Binfield up to seventh in the Hellenic Premier Division standings.
They return to action at Brimscombe and Thrupp on Saturday (3pm).
Wokingham and Emmbrook, meanwhile, are the next team tasked with trying to derail Kidlington’s push for the title.
The Oxfordshire side lead the Premier Division by four points and welcome the Sumas to Yarnton Road in a top-plays-bottom clash this evening. Kick-off is 7.45pm.
Finchampstead are also in action tonight.
They will be looking to score a first win of any note in nine games, but in order to do so will have to overcome title-chasing Penn and Tylers Green at French School Meadows.
This Hellenic Division 1 East clash kicks off at the earlier time of 6.30pm.
