An award-winning act on the Nordic music scene and global stage will be appearing in Nettlebed next week.
Frigg have appeared at some of the biggest stages including the Rainforest World Music Festival, WOMADelaide, Fiddles On Fire and the Cambridge Folk Festival.
The result is that there’s an enthusiastic appreciation of their fiddle-founded Nordgrass sound – a mix of Nordic folk and bluegrass.
Organisers say that they are possibly the most exciting, uplifting, gut-wrenching and hip-twitching band in the Northern Hemisphere.
Their set at Nettlebed Folk Club on Monday will include a blizzard of jigs, reels, polskas, waltzes and bluegrass inventions, coming together as Scandomusic.
The concert starts at 8pm and takes place at Nettlebed Village Club in the High Street, Nettlebed. For more details, or to book tickets, call 01628 636620 or log on to www.nettlebedfolkclub.co.uk
