Delivery vans are the new Ferrari in Wokingham thanks to an innovative project bringing the work of professional artists to life.
Courier and delivery group Flight Logistics launched their Art on Wheels initiative- comprising street art wrapped vehicles- in 2016.
And the past three years have seen the campaign get off to a zooming start, with now nine motors included in the collection.
The Wokingham and Heathrow-based business launched the campaign as part of the art handling branch of their services.
And their brightly coloured vans are a crucial part of the process- allowing them to pack and deliver top quality art work in one piece.
Marketing and communications officer for Flight Logistics Steve Bodie said: “The Ship Art vehicles are a great way of presenting our objective of delivering art to the masses.
“A lot of the team have connections to art themselves, whether that’s an interest in collecting art or simply visiting exhibitions, so this project is something that we’re all deeply invested in.”
Artists of the current cluster include Dan Kitchener, Jim Starr, The London Police and its newest member, Natasha Kumar.
Mr Bodie added: “You might only see our vehicles for a second or so, but so far they’ve caused a lot of interest and conversation.”
