WOKINGHAM is getting its own version of the Ideal Home Show, offering residents the chance to turn their grand designs into reality.
On Saturday, the first-ever Inspire Design Home Show will be held in Wokingham Town Hall.
The free event brings together a range of experts who will unpack different aspects of home renovations, from design to the finishing touches.
There will be 20-minute seminars taking place throughout the day-long event aimed at unpacking everything from garden design to bathroom trends. And there will be experts on hand to answer questions and show examples of projects they have worked on locally.
The future will also be revealed, thanks to a company that specialises in smart home technology: everything from mobile phone managed gadgets to CCTV to protect your home.
All the exhibitors are local businesses and have carried out works within the borough and beyond.
To ensure that the day is accessible, entry is free, as are all seminars.
“It’s a real chance to see the products and meet the experts,” said organiser Chris Lunn, from digital marketing agency Digity, which has offices in Peach Street.
“It’s going to be an exciting and innovative day. We’re really proud to be bringing this to Wokingham – people have too far to travel to get to big shows, so here it is, all on our doorstep.
“There’s been a lot of interest and the free tickets have been going fast. We encourage anyone who wants to attend to book online.”
The event runs from 10am to 4pm.
