A GROUP of GCSE students have tackled a 25 day exercise challenge for Home-Start Wokingham District.
Liv Fennell, 16, from Wokingham Without challenged 24 friends to join her for 25 minutes each day to exercise.
It was to mark the 25th anniversary of the charity’s support in the area.
And it helped the group keep active outside of home-schooling.
The 25 friends enjoyed a range of activities, from high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to walks, and body conditioning sessions.
So far, they have raised £2,066 of their £2,500 target.
The Home-Start team said they are “incredibly grateful” to all 25 teenagers for the time, energy and sweat they put into the challenge and for keeping going for all 25 days.
Every penny will go towards giving disadvantaged parents the support they need to give their children a better start in life.
