A WOODLEY man is celebrating after his local curry house got behind his London Marathon effort.
Jeremy Galpin is running in aid of MACS who work with children who are born with no eyes or with an eye defect.
To boost his fundraising efforts, he held a curry night at Jalpari of Woodley. The evening raised £270 towards his target of £2,000.
Mr Galpin said: I was delighted with the turnout and my guests were very complimentary about the food. Thanks very much to the generosity of the Jalpari who donated all their profit for the night to the charity allowing us to raise this excellent total.”
