MOST people, when they go on honeymoon, find an idyllic hotel and shut themselves away with their beloved. Not so Robin Morgan.
Spare a thought for his lucky new partner: she has to watch him perform to complete strangers every night.
The Welsh stand-up, who professes to a love of overusing exclamation marks, is bringing his new show – called Honeymoon – to Norden Farm later this month.
So just why is Robin on tour for his honeymoon? He says there is a good reason, but you have to come along to find out.
Who is Robin? Well, you may not be familiar with his name, but you’ve probably heard his work.
He’s a regular contributor to The Mash Report and has enjoyed sold out shows at Edinburgh Fringe.
Robin has written for BBC1’s Have I Got News for You and The Now Show. In addition to his solo shows and work as a writer, the performer is the support artist for Ellie Taylor’s national tours and BBC1’s The Graham Norton Show.
And Robin’s first sitcom, The Greatest Welshman You’ve Never Heard Of, was broadcast on BBC Radio Wales in early 2015. He has also written two forthcoming sitcoms to be broadcast on BBC Wales over the coming months.
Come along and join the greatest Welshman you’ve never heard of on his honeymoon.
Robin will be at Norden Farm on Saturday, April 20 at 8pm. The show is suitable for ages 14 upwards and tickets cost £12.
