A series of mystery posters containing baffling messages have been taped the window of an old Wokingham bank – and one asks to meet a ghost.
The former branch of Santander in Market Place has been decorated with 10 different hand drawn posters, each containing a triangle but no explanation.
One says: “Hi Mum, thanks for giving birth to me can I meet your GHOST only you know what I mean I will FB my new number.
“I wonder if the witches are big enough to come through my keyhole. It’s nearly Hallowe’en. Laugh out loud.”
Another references Einstein’s theory of relativity, adding “in motion, time is always on the move”.
A third reads: “I know Roger didn’t want children but I’ve found a way to make him into my real dad and the answer have been staring me in the face since Horley near Gatwick. It’s simple ISS.”
Another bafflingly refers to printer cartridges and song lyrics.
It reads: “U cant recycle printer cartridge’s because of the ink also you can get them refilled nowaday’s Use your I use mine song it’s Just The Way I Am. I haven’t highjacked the lyric’s I have just borrowed them but I make use of good music”.
Triangles
There is no clues as to their origins and the bizarre messages are unique to each poster – but each contains a triangle with a dot in it.
One passerby, who didn’t wish to be named, said: “I’ve never seen anything like it. They’re bright but I’ve no idea what they mean or who is behind it. At least it’s not graffiti.”
