THE OPENING date for Wokingham borough’s first Aldi supermarket has been announced.
The discount grocer will be opening at Suttons Business Park on Thursday, March 15.
The new store will feature Aldi’s usual range of fresh meat, fish, fruit and vegetables as well as special offers on Thursdays and Sundays.
These could include babywear, furniture, gadgets and clothes.
The store is part of a redevelopment of the business park in Earley, and includes a drive through Costa Coffee.
An Aldi spokesperson said: “Work on Suttons Business Park is progressing well and we look forward to welcoming customers to our new store on Thursday, March 15.”

And it’s not the only Aldi to be opening in Wokingham borough over the coming months.
Work is soon to start on the Elms Field branch in Wokingham town centre.
Last year, Wokingham Borough Council said that it hoped it would be open in time for Christmas 2018.
The then Executive member for regeneration, Cllr Mark Ashwell, said: “We’re really pleased to see Aldi come to Wokingham as part of our scheme and feel they will be a great fit, complimenting what’s already on offer and bringing something new to the town.
“As a brand Aldi continues to go from strength to strength, winning awards for their food and drink across the board, including being named Which? Best Supermarket of the year a record four times.”
