THERE was plenty of choice at the Queen’s Head Beer and Cider Festival, to toast local charity WADE.
With 12 real ales and six ciders on offer, regulars and visitors were able to celebrate the popular day centre while visiting the pub over the bank holiday weekend.
WADE offers members a break from their own homes, as well as day respite for their carers, whether immediate family, relations or professionals.
The beer and cider festival at the pub in The Terrace was well attended with something for everyone including live music in the beautiful pub garden and proceeds from the hot food available going to WADE (Wokingham and District Association for the Elderly.)
