Reading ended an 11-game winless run by defeating Nottingham Forest 2-0 at Madejski Stadium.

MO BARROW: Lively performance down the right. Provided the assist for Swift’s goal and tracked back well – 8
JOHN SWIFT: Looks a lot more comfortable playing just behind the striker and made a good run into the box before finishing well to break the deadlock – 8
OVIE EJARIA: Showed some nice early touches on debut and looks to be a talented prospect. Faded in the second half before being withdrawn – 7
