Reading will face the short trip to west London to face Queens Park Rangers on the opening day of the 2017/18 campaign.
Royals fans can now start planning their away ventures for the campaign after the complete fixture list was announced this morning with the trip to Loftus Road followed by tricky looking home fixtures against Fulham and Aston Villa.
Royals will travel to Bristol City on the ever popular Boxing Day fixture and host Birmingham City on New Year’s Day.
The regular season will end away at Cardiff City.
Reading’s Carabao Cup first round opponents were revealed last week with a home clash against League One Gillingham also added to the August schedule
