AFC Bournemouth have today announced the signing of Adam Federici.
The 30-year-old has penned a three-year contract with the Premier League new boys and arrives at the Goldsands Stadium on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with Reading.
Australia international Federici became a popular figure at Madejski Stadium, where he clocked up 206 appearances for the Royals during a 10-year stay with the club.

The keeper even managed to net a senior goal for the club, lashing home a stoppage-time equaliser to rescue Reading a point from a 1-1 draw with Cardiff City during the 2008/09 campaign.
Such was his popularity that following his error during the 2-1 extra-time FA Cup semi-final loss to Arsenal at Wembley last month, fans attended the next game – the 1-0 reverse to Birmingham City – draped in Australian flags and native attire to show their support to the now-departed No.1.
And the shot-stopper, who made 49 appearances in all competitions for Reading last term, has thanked the supporters for their backing over the years.
Federici said: “There are too many people at this club to thank, but I must mention the supporters, who have stuck by me throughout and sung my name from the stands, home and away.
“I will never forget my 10 years as a Reading player.
“Thank you.”
