The Supporters’ Trust at Reading has asked the club for an urgent meeting with the club’s hierarchy amid growing concerns.
The situation at Reading FC came to a boiling point on Saturday when the club were knocked out of the FA Cup third round by non-league Kidderminster Harriers to add what has been a dismal season with off the field problems.
STAR released a statement on Monday evening to address their concerns after recent events at the club.
The statement reads: “Following recent events, the Supporters’ Trust at Reading, have today asked Reading FC to urgently bring forward the date of our next scheduled structured Meeting Dialogue Meeting.
“In our view, this meeting should take place within the net two weeks with at least the Chief Executive Officer and Finance Director in attendance.
“They key items on the agenda would be: 1) How to address the negatvitiy around the club (from team performance and stadium fan experience, etc)
“2) The perceived lack of direction and connection with the fanbase.
“3) The club’s response to the Fan Led Review proposals – the implementation of which would go some way to addressing points one and two.”
