Reading Rockets extended their winning run to four matches with a 92-81 victory over Kent Crusaders last night.
In a match originally scheduled for Saturday, the two sides faced off at John Madejski Academy after the snow led to the game at Bohunt School being postponed.
And Reading boosted their chances of a top four finish and a home play-off game next month with a relatively comfortable victory.
Captain Danny Carter got the ball rolling before Tim Gill, who ended the game as the top scorer with 21 points, followed suit.
Scotty Hendricks drained a treble, but the young Crusaders battled back to trail by just three points at the end of the first period.
But Rockets turned the screw to lead 53-37 at half-time with Ed Potter getting in on the action.
Despite a 12-0 run during the third stanza, Kent could not quite reduce the arrears as Manuel Pena Garces’ men stormed to victory.
Rockets face two games this weekend with a trip to Leicester on Saturday before hosting Derby on Sunday.
Rockets top scorers: Tim Gill 21 points, Scotty Hendricks 15, Declan Soukup 15, Danny Carter 14.
