THE Red Arrows flew past Wokingham today as part of the Magna Carta anniversary celebrations.
At 12.17pm, the borough stopped, looked up and caught the RAF unit as they returned from a performance in Shropshire.
Their flight path went directly over central Wokingham and they dropped down to an altitude or around 200 metres for a flyover of Westcott Infants School, Westende School and St Crispin’s.
Pupils gathered on the school grounds to watch the Red Arrows release red, white and blue smoke, while others across the borough peered out of windows and gathered in the streets.
Wokingham Paper chief photographer was in Market Place to capture the moment they passed over the Town Hall, as you can see in our photo above.
