Roger Herridge not surprised by Sean Moore’s red-hot Binfield FC form

Roger Herridge says Sean Moore’s form in front of goal comes as no surprise.

The Binfield forward netted for the fourth game in a row during Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Brimscombe and Thrupp, taking his tally to 10 for the season in just 15 appearances, only two off the 12 he managed in the entirety of 2016-17, but Herridge is not shocked to see him net so frequently.

Sean Moore is in fine form

“Nothing surprises me with Sean,” his manager told The Wokingham Paper.

“In my opinion he’s got the potential to be one of the best players in the league. On his day he’s unplayable.

“He can always be fitter and he’s certainly a lot fitter than he was.

“Frustrating at times because he’s always trying to do the spectacular but when the spectacular comes off, it looks really, really good. But when it doesn’t come off it can be a bit frustrating.

“He’s a really good player, he’s a real handful, he’s a great lad in the dressing room as well.

“He’s playing a lot more central this year rather than out wide, which I think suits him.

“I think Sean will be up there as probably our leading goalscorer come the end of the season if he continues the way that he’s playing at the moment.”
