A SINGING afternoon for female voices will focus on songs from the popular musical film Sister Act.

And organisers say you won’t need to dress up like a nun for the event, but they hope that singing will be become a habit.

Songs in the afternoon event include Hail Holy Queen, I Will Follow Him, Shout, Oh Happy Day, Dancing In The Street and Ode To Joy.

The event is open to anyone who loves singing and takes place on Saturday, April 27 at Charvil Village Hall between 2pm and 4pm.

Places cost £10 per person, which includes copies of the music and light refreshments.

For more details, or to book a place, call organiser Suzanne Newman on 0118 934 0589 or email suzanneynewman@btinternet.com
